LE: What does traditional children’s clothing mean to you?
MH: When I was little, my Grannie (whom I adored) would create classic, handmade clothing for me to wear. I still treasure those timeless pieces and the memories of picking out patterns and fabric with her, having her measure me, and the sounds of the sewing machine as she lovingly assembled each one.

LE: Why do you choose to dress your children in these styles?
MH: From smocking and seersucker to eyelet and liberty print, I love dressing Lively in Little English’s quality clothing that celebrates childhood and reminds me of the classic pieces my Grannie used to make for me.
