Little English Design Contest Winners!
Thank you to everyone who participated in our first ever Little English Design Contest!! We hope you enjoyed this activity during your time at home, and just over a year later we are so pleased to share the winning designs as part of our Spring 2021 Collection. We loved learning about your inspirations behind each design and bringing these garments to life!
Our first winner is Marian Walters of Lexington, KY. She designed the darling Ducky Ducky Dress and matching Ducky Ducky Shortall. These coordinating sibling pieces are inspired by her mother-in-law's hand-smocked creation that has been worn by her husband and now her two boys!
Our second winner, Kristen Kelly, designed the beautiful Blue Garden Dress. With a smocked waist and white scalloped collar, this classic dress is given a modern twist. Kristen lives in San Francisco, CA with her husband and four children, and we love how she turned this project into a mother-daughter activity!
Our third and final winner is Mary Catherine Brownfield of Atlanta, GA. She designed the Beautiful Bows Dress and Beautiful Bows Bloomer Set, which feature simple yet sweet embroidered bows. They're perfect for coordinating sisters, and the colors make it easy for brother to match too!
