First Day of School Photo Frame

First Day of School Photo Frame

The first day of school is a very important day. Backpacks are filled with new school supplies, lunches have been packed, and most importantly, outfits have been picked out the night before to make sure your children make their very best impression with their new teacher and classmates. At little english, we can all remember the tradition of picking out our favorite outfits for the first day of school and taking a picture with our siblings in front of our house with our backpacks on. And to this day that picture is something our parents and ourselves included hold very dear to our hearts. We've added some pictures of our first days of school that our moms still adore to this day. Enjoy the blast from the past!

What to Wear

The most important part of the first day of school is the outfit, of course! What’s more fitting than little english’s School Days Collection for that very special day. For baby sister that wants to get in on the fun, we love the Ruffled Sally Bubble in Apple. This bubble has so many wonderful features to swoon over. Applique apples down the front, ruffled cap sleeves, and a piped peter pan collar are just a few of them! She can match baby brother in the Button Tab Charlie Bubble in Apple which features the same light blue gingham pattern as the Sally Bubble. It also has applique apples and sweet button tabs at the side.

For toddler girl, we know she will have day full of play ahead of her so we recommend the Applique Channel Dress in Apple. This dress is ideal for playtime because it’s made from 100% cotton, yet its silhouette and peter pan collar give it a more elevated feel, which makes it perfect for first day of school pictures. Toddler boy will have so much fun on his first day of school in the Applique T-shirt in Apple and Basic Short in Red. This outfit is playground and mom approved. The Applique T-Shirt features light blue and white stripes with and applique apple on the front and the shorts have an elastic waist band for comfortability and easy dressing.

For big girl, we love the North Rivers Dress in Apple. The applique apples on the apples pop against the light blue and white stripes of the dress and the pockets are a fun addition. An added bonus: the length is perfect for any school dress code! For big boy, we suggest the Button Down Shirt in Light Blue Gingham and the Classic Pant in Pebble Twill. To match the family’s red apples, try getting this shirt monogrammed in red! The Button Down and Classic Pant will be worn over and over again this fall as they can be paired with so many other little english pieces.
