Meet Alison
My name is Alison Kenworthy and I am a three-time Emmy Award-winning television producer and the founder and CEO of Homeworthy, a media network that highlights extraordinary people and their homes. Homeworthy generates over 3 billion minutes watched annually across its streaming platforms. I grew up in the historic neighborhood of Georgetown in Washington, D.C. which is where I developed my love of homes and design. I live in Manhattan with my husband, Michael, and our three children — all under five — who certainly keep us on our toes!
Her Edit — What She's Reaching for Right Now
L.L. Bean Bags
One cannot have enough of these classic L.L. bags! I’m notorious for using them instead of suitcases for trips — much to my husband’s chagrin.
Diptyque Solid Perfumes
Perfect for your purse and for travel! I love Diptyque’s solid perfumes; I have the eau rose.
Table Lamp
This is my new favorite addition to the apartment — a fabulous and fun table lamp!
Lisa Corti Hand Blown Italian Glasses
These whimsical hand blown Italian glasses are on my wish list — there is something so wonderful about vibrant colors to brighten a table.
Homeworthy Plus Membership
And I can’t forget! A membership to Homeworthy Plus — where you can watch exclusive home decor content from around the world.
For The Children — What She’s Loving Right Now
Little English clothing has been a staple in our kids’ closets since they were born! Two of our three children will be in school in the fall and I am a sucker for back to school outfits with apples on them! And we can’t forget something for baby William, so a classic blue gingham bubble is in order for him! Shop our favorites: Bib Dress in Apples, Apple Knee Highs, Applique Basic Shorts in Apple, Short Sleeve Solid Polo in Red, and the Davant Bubble in Gray Blue Gingham for baby William.
Damhorst Toys Name Puzzle Stools
Damhorst Toys has been making name puzzle stools since the 1970s. I have them for all of our kids and think they make a great gift.
Petite Keep
Homeworthy is working on a very special collaboration with Petite Keep, launching this fall. Their beautiful trunks are the perfect place to preserve your children’s treasured keepsakes.
The Circus Ship by Chris Van Dusen
Our kids are smitten with anything by author and illustrator Chris Van Dusen. The Circus Ship is a current favorite and the illustrations are incredible!
Of Note — What’s Inspiring Her Lately
I have a 10-week-old baby and am currently just trying to keep my head above water! But this fall we are thrilled to be launching three new lifestyle channels: GardenWorthy, ClosetWorthy, and KitchenWorthy!
Her Last Word
What is your motherhood mantra?
I love the baby and toddler years—there is nothing sweeter than the smell of a newborn or seeing life through the eyes of a child. At the moment, I’m a wee bit frazzled juggling a five-year-old, an almost three-year-old, and a ten-week-old, but when I feel overwhelmed I try to remind myself that this time of life is so fleeting and it’s going to be gone far too soon. So I’m embracing the beautiful messiness of motherhood and writing down as many memories as I can, especially because these days I can barely remember what day of the week it is!
